The Race

I wrote this in 2010..

The tears I cry are so heavy, they tell a tale of a thousand pains. I am not afraid to cry. My tears are so heavy that if you ever get the chance to be close enough to wipe them, your world becomes meaningful. I stand, my tears fall, but my heart, mind, and soul runs ahead of the race. My tears take lead just to lighten my load so that I may attempt to win this race for the hundred millionth time.
